They say that if you want to accomplish change in your life you have to make goals. Your Goals should be written, concise, and measurable. Were my health is concerned I’m 66 years old with a body or vessel that is falling apart. I think I have done everything wrong to my body over the years. Life is now taking a toll w that I’m not happy with. I have diabetes. I can barely walk. My back hurts all the time. I’m to sedentary. My arthritis is out of this world. My kidney function is 60% I have kidney disease chronic stage 3. I am told I have adult onset ADHD. I swallow a soup bowl of pills twice aday and take injections of insulin 4 times a day. I don’t know if there is any thing I can do about taking less drugs to get through the day but I’m going to try There is a list of my goals for the rest of the year at the end of this paragraph. My daughter is my main caregiver and as we progress through the goals any changes and results we get We’ll post on this Blog.
Health Goals
- Lower my A1c – 6.4 8/04/2023 now, get to 5.6 and hold
- Lose Weight – 298 lbs. now, get to 225 and hold
- Eat to lower Blood Pressure – regularly 140/80 now, try to get to 130/80
- Work out both aerobic an anaerobic – nothing now, full on program, more than 1 Ab.
- Heal my feet and Legs – sores now, no sores looking good like they used to.
To accomplish these goals we are going to design routines and habits to incorporate into my everyday activities. Follow along and if you have any suggestions don’t hesitate to leave a comment. We have not decided for sure yet when we are going to post but right now we are looking at 3 times a week. As they say time will tell.
